Keppel Bay Sailing Club

Keppel Bay Sailing Club, positioned by Yeppoon Main Beach, offers sailing in sheltered waters, safeguarded by the scenic Keppel Islands. The expansive racing area is easily viewed from the clubhouse, with a beachfront that accommodates 100+ boat launches simultaneously via a two-lane concrete ramp.

Newly opened in November 2024, the three-story sailing clubhouse features an observation room, meeting and training facilities, accessible amenities, a workshop, boat storage, a rigging area, and a restaurant/cafe.

The club has a history of hosting prestigious events including the 2000 World and National Nacra Championships, 2007 F18 Worlds, Arrow Nationals, Hobie Nationals, Cherub Nationals, Moth Nationals, Impulse Nationals, Laser State Titles, National Sharpie Championships, Sabot State titles, and the annual QLD Youth Sail from 2006 to 2024.
