Lake Kawana

Lake Kawana, on the Sunshine Coast, offers five kilometres of pristine waterway for local, national and international training and an eight laned, buoyed competition course. It is a sought-after venue for activities such as canoe sprint, dragon boating, outrigging, and stand-up paddleboard races. The facility includes a two-storey, air-conditioned Finish Tower with expansive windows for officials, a mobile 72-metre starting pontoon that accommodates six lanes, and practical amenities such as a boat ramp, trailer parking, roadside and event parking, shaded areas, BBQ facilities, toilets, and an outdoor shower.
