About
The Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre (QSAC) in Brisbane features two international standard 10-lane 400m running tracks and is home to the National Throws Centre of Excellence, a high-performance training facility specifically for athletics throwing disciplines. Earmarked to host athletics events at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the precinct is also home to the Queensland Academy of Sport high performance centre including world class strength, conditioning, testing and recovery facilities.
Next door to the main stadium is Brisbane's biggest beach volleyball venue, Sandstorm Beach Club - originally founded and developed by Australian 5x Beach Volleyball Olympian, Natalie Cook OAM OLY - with eight full sized beach volleyball courts. Indoor multisport centre Nissan Arena is also within the high performance sporting hub.
