About

The Queensland State Rowing Centre at Wyaralong Dam, situated in the picturesque Scenic Rim region, is home to a 2000m 10-lane course. Esteemed as the State Rowing Centre, this facility serves as a key location for both the rowing and canoe sprint communities in Queensland. Bookable through Rowing Queensland, the centre regularly hosts a range of rowing competitions, including school and club regattas, State Championships, and National Time Trials.

The centre has been earmarked to host canoe sprint and rowing events for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and will undergo an upgrade prior to the Games, adding training and warm up courses, boat sheds and facilities block, pontoons and finish tower, roads and vehicle parking areas.
