Southport Sharks

Southport Sharks is located in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, attracting annually more than a million visitors. This venue offers two AFL-grade ovals with floodlighting, a comprehensive 24/7 fitness centre, team gymnasiums, and change facilities equipped with ice baths. It is situated in close proximity to Griffith University's swimming and athletics facilities, the Gold Coast Hockey Centre, and Keith Hunt Park.

The venue has a collaborative agreement with Griffith University, providing access to Sports Science and Medical services, including performance analysis and sports nutrition. Teams and sports events such as the Oceania Athletes Training Camp and various national sports squads have utilised the precinct's services.

Well-connected via public transport and the M1 motorway, Southport Sharks also includes the Mantra at Sharks hotel and an event centre capable of accommodating diverse functions. The partnership has facilitated the precinct's role as an operational base for significant sporting organisations, particularly during key times such as the AFL's operations shift in 2020.
