Townsville Stadium

The main arena of the Townsville Stadium boasts an international standard timber sport floor, and two tiered retractable grandstands that can accommodate up to 800 spectators each for feature events. The floor area covers three courts, suitable for basketball and netball. The Stadium has hosted numerous international events, including games between the Australian Women’s Basketball Team and China, Super Netball clashes, numerous Oceania and Australian level table tennis tournaments, and was a basketball training facility for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
